Bangladesh is the land of six seasons! After the simmering and sweltering heat and humidity of summer comes “Shorot” (Autumn) marked by patches of deep blue sky and white cotton-woolly clouds, as prelude to winter. Once a year during Shorot Kaash blooms, usually along the banks of rivers, and these days also on land fill sites filled with sandy soil!
